First Aid Trainer Training combined with PTLLS qualification

The First Aid Trainer Training Course is a 6-day course that is combined with a Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) qualification for organisations who wish to have a member of staff qualified to train their workforce in-house in First Aid, or individuals with an interest in becoming a First Aid Trainer.

From autumn 2010 the government is bringing in a requirement for all teachers or trainers to have, or be working towards, a formal teaching qualification - PTLLS is the minimum requirement. Since 1st October 2009, HSE Approval is required to deliver even the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course (formerly 'Appointed Person First Aid').

Our combined First Aid Trainer Training and PTLLS course will allow candidates to deliver accredited First Aid Training courses.
